Robin J. Adrianson, 66, of Chicago, Illinois, formerly of Battle Creek, Michigan, died May 26, 2021 at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL. She was born July 20, 1954 in Battle Creek to J. Thomas (Tom) and Janine (DePew) Adrianson. Robin graduated from Battle Creek Central High School and Kellogg Community College. She moved to Chicago not long after college and began her career in the financial industry. The majority of her career was spent with Fidelity Investments in Chicago’s financial district, which she thoroughly enjoyed. She also took great pleasure in her Wrigleyville neighborhood. Music was a constant source of joy throughout her life. She played several instruments and had a lovely singing voice. The many times she sang with her father in The New Superior Jazz Band were particularly special. Robin will be best remembered for her beautiful smile, wonderful sense of humor and her love for her partner, family and friends. She is survived by her cherished partner of 27 years, Servando Salas of Chicago, her sister Lisa (Garry) Gonzales and niece Adrienne Gonzales of Bolingbrook, IL, her aunt Mrs. Harley G. (Marilyn Adrianson) Simmons, Jr. and several loving cousins and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents. A private memorial service will be held.
