On Saturday, August 3, 2019, Natalie Salazar, Beloved Daughter, passed away at the age of 11 in Santa Rosa, New Mexico.
Natalie was born on June 12, 2008 in Chicago Illinois to Francisco and Mayra Salazar. She was a 4th grader going into the 5th grade at Cyrus H. McCormick Elementary. She was the youngest of four children.
Natalie was the joy of the family. She would make everyone laugh by making jokes. Being the last born, she was daddy’s little princess. She loved going to work with her dad and admired him so much. When career day came at school she wanted to dress like her father, a truck driver. She made fun of her brothers and sister, even with that, her siblings loved her. Even with her siblings calling her Nathan instead of her given name, she enjoyed being by their side. She developed a personality of her own, in which she made friends in and out of school. She loved arts and crafts. She loved making slime and staying up with her older sister painting and playing music at night. Being a preteen, she had her share of arguments with her siblings but it always ended with all four laughing and hanging out at home.
Natalie was preceded in death by her father, Francisco, her older brother, Daniel, her grandfather, Ramon, her uncle, Rodolfo Salazar, her two cousins, Ramon Leopoldo Morales and Roberto Garcia. She is survived by her mother Mayra, her older sister Maribel, and her older brother Fernando. She is also survived by her cousins, her aunts and godparents and paternal grandparents.

A million times we’ll need you all A million times we’ll cry, if love alone could have saved you all, you all would’ve never died. In life we loved you all dearly in death we love you still in our hearts you all hold a place that no one can ever fill. It broke our hearts to lose you all but you didn’t go alone, for part of us went with you the day God took you all home. Things will never be the same although it hurts so bad, we will smile whenever we hear your names and be proud you all were part of our family.
