Harriette Mildred Berg (nee Vaudrin) Age 83 of Willow Springs, passed away February 18, 2016 in LaGrange with her granddaughter at her side after a long struggle with Parkinson’s. She was born November 19, 1932 in Chicago to Lawrence and Gertrude Vaudrin. Harriette retired from 1st National Bank of Chicago after 27 years as a customer service manager. She then worked for the city of Berwyn as a crossing guard, and as a school bus driver servicing LTHS District. Finally, at full retirement age she became a professional grandmother and president of her condominium association.
Her sister Dorothy Dusek preceded her in death in 2011. Harriette is survived by her sister Lillian (Walter) Boutin, two daughters, Diana (Jerry) Drew Meeks and Donna Drew. Five grandchildren, Shannon Schilaci, Jessica (Nicholas) Fricano, Brenden (Nicole) Schilaci, Derek Meeks, Ryan (Theresa) Meeks and six great grandchildren, Kahla Grima, Isabella Schilaci, Dominic Schilaci, Sara Meeks, Madyson Meeks and Ryan T. Meeks. Celebration of Life arrangements to be made in the future.
