Anne C. Wysocki, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, went home to be with the Lord on August 12, 2022 at age 70. She was surrounded by family when she passed into eternity. Anne was born to Phillip Coyle and Kathleen T. Adams on December 14, 1951 in New Jersey. As a child she fell in love with music and learned to play the piano. She also discovered the joys of nature, tennis, and bowling, to name a few things.
In the summer of 1970, Anne moved to Illinois and in July 1973 got a job at Velsicol Chemical Corporation, where she met the love of her life, Jerome. Spending 8 hours a day, 5 days a week together wasn’t enough for the lovebirds and they married in 1974. Being the daring individuals they were, Anne and Jerome went on to have two daughters, Christine and Laura, who kept them on their toes for the next 18+ years. (Christine and Laura fully acknowledge they are the cause of Mom’s gray hair.)
After five years of working as a chemist, Anne received a promotion to domestic engineer (aka stay at home mom) and attended nursing school so that she could care for her mother, whose health was declining. It was with great pride that her family attended her graduation from nursing school in 1983. She went on to work as a night shift weekend RN at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital so that she could still remain home with her daughters during the school week.
Anne enjoyed road trips and vacations with Jerry and girls to places like Starved Rock, Mammoth Cave, and White Pines. She loved animals, especially cats and wolves. Anne always said that the reward for surviving parenthood was grandchildren, and she spent as much time as possible with them in her retirement years. Her grandsons especially loved watching classic television such as M.A.S.H. and Batman with their beloved “Mymy”. Anne joins her parents and her older brother, Michael, in Heaven.
She is survived by her husband, Jerome, her daughters Christine (Greg) and Laura (Dallas), and her grandchildren Connor, Ethan, Lucas, Anastasia, Patrick, and Penelope.
Visitation will take place at Westchester Bible Church, 10600 W. Cermak Rd Westchester, Illinois on Thursday, August 18 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Services will be held at Westchester Bible Church on Friday, August 19 at 10:30 a.m. with burial immediately following at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, Illinois.
