Wendy Sue Witmer

Wendy S. Witmer, age 62 of Downers Grove, Illinois passed away October 19, 2024.  She was born February 19, 1962, in Hinsdale, IL. Wendy has lived in Downers Grove the majority of her life.  She did leave immediately after high school to join the U.S. Navy.  After completing her duties in the Navy she returned to Downers Grove where she raised her two sons.  Wendy was young at heart and loved to have fun with family and friends.

She is survived by her sons, Alan Witmer and Jason Witmer. Sisters, Alice Witmer, Sherrie Witmer and Donna Witmer.  Her nieces Charity Witmer, April Witmer and Danielle (Aaron) Raezler. Nephews, Brandon Witmer, Mark Witmer and Eric Witmer as well as many loving great nieces, nephews, great-great nephews and friends.  Wendy is preceded in death by her parents Harry and Etta Mae Witmer and her brothers Mark and Stephen Witmer.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, October 26, from 1 until 4 p.m. with a service at 3 p.m. at the Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory, 516 S. Washington St., Naperville.
