Alexander Bryant Prior finally made his way home on May 15, 2020. Let’s not mourn but be happy and joyous that we were lucky enough to know such an amazing soul. He had two places he called home, Mississippi and Chicago, both of which he was known everywhere. You couldnt walk in a place without someone knowing Alexx. If you weren’t part of the 75% of the Mississippi or Chicago population that knew him, you definitely missed out. Unique isnt the word to describe him, he was so much more. He was one of a kind and always cared for others and did what he could to make light of any situation; even when he was in the worst of situations. No matter the issue, the world was his playground.
He is preceeded in death by his “mom” (grandmother) and his brother, Jordan Seth Powell. He leaves behind thousands waiting to see him again.

This boy was one of my best friends and he kept me going even when I thought my whole world was crashing around me.
Alexx, I love you and I’m so sorry I didnt show up like I was supposed to when you came home.
I will regret that everyday. I hope you’re laughing and how incredibly devastated this has made me. I cant wait to see you again.
I will miss you, always
