Jean Marie Platt Izzo, Age 94 of Lombard. Wife of the late Bernard P. Izzo. Mother of Tom, Jim (Joan), Cathy (Joseph), John (Rosemary) and Pat (Judy) Izzo. Grandmother of Jesse, Katie, Anthony, Laura, Beth, Chris, Cindy, Steven (Ashley), Anna (Tim) Glinski, David and the late Patty. Great grandmother of Benjamin. Sister of Amanda (Late Ted) Lorig, late Betty (Late Ray) Corliss and the late Helen (Bob) Weihenmayer. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. “A great mom and a great grandma. She inspired everyone who knew her to want to be just like her.” Donations in Jean’s name can be made to Heidelberg University in Tiffin, Ohio or Make-a-Wish Foundation. Prayer service 9:15 am Monday Oct. 30th at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Rd., Wheaton to Christ the King Church, 1501 S. Main St., Lombard for 10 am Mass. Burial will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 3-6 pm.

They always had smiles on their faces. We learned so many interesting facts from them (especially about
the opera. And your Movie Nights! They were so proud of all of their family. I know your mom had a
really had a hard time after your dad died so I can see them smiling now – together again. Our prayers
