Heidi Beth Rowley, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family & friends on March 26, 2017. Heidi was the devoted wife of Bob Rowley. Cherished mother of David (Debby) and Donald Fisher. Grandma Heidi to Trudy Jane. Loving sister of Donna (Nick) Roseto, Heather Dodge, Crystal (Bob) Hofer, Lisa (Alan) Ippolito and the late Star Mergler. Dear aunt of Brian (Lori Kieltyka-Estell) Levitan, Jeffrey (Cam) Levitan, Tanya (David) Kowalewski, Tony (Christina) Dodge, Samantha (Michael) Jacobson, Megan (Jim) Zerby, Robert Hofer, Mari (Jason) Kors, Richard (Danika) Hofer, Nicholas (Alexandria) Ippolito, Gina (Russel Lucka) Ippolito and Alyssa (Taylor Hall) Ippolito. Beloved daughter of the late Janet and the late Donald Mergler.
Heidi is also remembered by her many cousins and deeply loved friends who considered her their “2nd mother, sister, aunt and her grand dogs Pepper & Eve. For the past 38 years, Heidi worked along side her husband Bob as the owners of Homewood Garage in Frankfort, retiring in June of 2016.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 1st from 2pm until 8pm with a celebration of her life at 7pm at Maher Funeral Home, 7051 W. 171st Street, Tinley Park. Burial will be private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to IL Veteran’s Home in Manteno or National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
