Dottie was much loved by many friends and family who are now deceased, I became a part of her family in 2009 and had the pleasure of hearing many of her life stories, From her Irish pub owning family prior to prohibition. Her basketball playing days for RCA in NY in the 40’s . Her time in the Middle East and then Spain working in the State Department in the 50’s. Her marriage to Frank Zwicker in 1959 and their family travels. She left us her large collection of photos of all these times prior to moving to Chicago. We are grateful for all the support we have received from the friends, associates and officials in Chicago during this difficult time. Pamela with Steve Zwicker

I was fortunate to have met Dolores when she was still well and visited Chris after he just had moved to Chicago.
Her stories about her life were fascinating.
Over the next few years our conversations were less and less detailed, as her health was not that good anymore, but she was grateful for the loving care she received from her son Chris.
With sincere sympathy and hoping that she rests in peace.

I had the honor or meeting Mrs. Zwicker as Chris brought her to my house years ago, while she was well and still living in Florida. She was an amazing woman and I was so glad I met her. May she rest in peace with her beloved son.

I had the pleasure of knowing Dottie since I was a little girl. She was a friend, mentor, and like a second mom to me. We would stay with her whenever we were in town. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of both Chris and Dottie the same day. They will remain forever in my heart. Steve and Pamela, I am so sorry for your loss. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you need anything.
