Having a son and brother leave this earth at such an early age is a sadness we identify with. We have to trust that God has a plan and is merciful and that he will bring us all together again. Our condolences to all the Glovik family — our prayers are with you.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Matt Alholm
Mr./Mrs. Glovik, Bob, John,
I am so sorry for you loss. Joey and I almost grew up as brothers. I have many fond memories through the years. From playing tennis at Sunset park, football in my backyard, Euchre with my dad (Joe was always my partner and we rarely lost), or hanging out in your basement. Your doors were always open to us boys and it was much appreciated. Joey had a laugh that would fill the room (usually followed by a cough). Joey was a kind and big hearted fella. The gruff exterior was only for show.
I hated watching him get sick. I spent many nights worrying about him, as I am sure you did also. I hope Joey found that peace which seemed to allude him on this side.
The Alholm family wishes you the best in this time of grieving.
Joey will not be forgotten and will certainly be missed.

Words cannot express how saddened I am. I am so sorry for your loss. I know that I am a better person for having known Joe. He was as kind hearted as could be and was like a brother to me. He will be missed everyday.
Mr & Mrs Glovik, thank you for all the times I was welcomed into your home on good ol’ Fairview. Those memories will be cherished not only by myself, but by so many others as well.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
All my love,

I’ve said many prayers that the entire Glovik family and the 100’s of Joe’s friends find a way to cope with the loss of such an amazing and kind person. Joe was one of Brian’s life long friend and grew to be a great friend to myself. His unmistakeable laugh always made me smile. The Serio family knows the pain of losing “one of us” and are all here for you as you reflect on a life cut way too short but by far one to be celebrated. One Love!

May you see God’s light on the path ahead
When the road you walk is dark.
May you always hear,
Even in your hour of sorrow,
The gentle singing of the lark.
When times are hard may hardness
Never turn your heart to stone,
May you always remember
When the shadows fall-
You do not walk alone.
