I, like so many people had to pleasure of becoming friends with Jarrod at DePaul, only to learn we were both from Lisle. He was always positive, upbeat and very friendly. Words can’t describe how sorry I am for your loss, he was special and will be missed.

I’m not sure if you remember me, but I competed against Jarrod in High School Track. I never could beat him and always looked up to him even though we were on different teams. He was a great guy and someone I would never forget. I feel awful but only have good memories and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Jessica Karlin
Nancy and family, I was on the track team with Jarrod at DePaul. He was an athlete, a competitor but more importantly, an amazing person and kind heart. Anyone who met him can remember that smile and positive attitude. He will be missed by all. God bless your family during his trying time. Gone too soon…

Mrs. Jahnke and Steve,
Words can not express my sympathy for you both. Jarrod was such a good man and I hope that you can find some bit of peace in being proud of the way that he lived his life, the kindness that he showed to all, and in all of us that have such positive memories of him. You are in my prayers.
David Zemke
Nancy,
We can explain most things in our life, there is usually a reason. Jarrod’s death cannot be explained other than the Lord decided to call his child home. That’s where our faith comes in. Our Lord promises us that He will not test us more than we can handle. Trust in Him, rely on His guidance, pray to Him for strength and He will give you His peace. Frieda and my prayers are with you and your family.

Nancy & Family,
I am so so very sorry to hear about your son, Jarrod. You have been a dear friend through Trinity for so many years and I want you to know that I am praying for you during this time.

I was one of the terribly upset people who saw what happened when he passed away. I was working and looked out the window, and then ran to him and all of us tried very hard to quickly get help for him. It is something one never forgets, and now that I know who he was and that he was a wonderful young man and no longer an unknown person I know who I am praying for. He will always be in my prayers.
