Shelly, my much loved Russian Tortoise that I rescued 2 years ago, died suddenly on June 7, 2012. She was an entertaining companion to her human family, David Fisher, Debby and Trudy Donnellan. She is also survived by her pet companions Sam, Fonzie, Lupe and The Spider. She was buried in her outdoor habitat that was built for her just a few hours before her death.
