Paul DeWitt, of Elmhurst, passed away on May 20, 2013. Loving husband of the late Betty DeWitt and beloved son of the late Floyd DeWitt and the late Marie DeWitt. Dear uncle of Kent Colberg, Karen Colberg, and Kristine Stewart. Other close family and friends include the Dreyer family, Emily Sharp, Norma Koxlein, Jill Shelby, Pauline Farnsworth, Lois Hoff, Ray Irwin, and Edith King. Paul DeWitt was a U.S. Navy Veteran who served during World War II and was stationed in Japan. He was a member of Christ Church in Oak Brook. Paul DeWitt served on the Elmhurst Planning and Zoning Commission, worked at Sunbeam as an engineer, and taught as an Instructor at Triton College. Memorial Service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at Christ Church of Oak Brook, 501 Oak Brook Rd (31st St. and York Rd.), Oak Brook, IL. A private burial of ashes will be held at Forest Rose Cemetery in Lancaster, Ohio.
