Marsa Larson, 64, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 7th in Rockford, IL. She was surrounded by her loved ones when Jesus came to get her.

Marsa is survived by her two children; daughter Heather (Bruce) Burgbacher of Aurora, IL and son Thad (Brittney) Larson of Mondovi, WI. Grandchildren Katelynn, Jaden, Logan, and Isabella Larson. Sister Sherie (Robert) Rosengren of Woodland Hills, CA. Also many more family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Ruth Griswold of Rockford, IL.

Marsa was born on May 5th 1953 in Rockford, IL. She lived a life full of Love and Joy for the Lord. For many years she was a claims manager for Blue Cross Blue Shield. She taught Sunday school at First Evangelical Free Church and was involved in card and prayer ministry at Heartland Community Church. Marsa never stopped showing and telling others about Jesus and His love for them. She suffered trial after trial physically and emotionally, but never lost focus of her purpose.
Marsa was an Amazing Mother, Loyal Friend, and Loving Grandmother. She is and will continue to be deeply missed.
Please join us in celebrating her life of love and faith on Saturday, October 21st at River Valley Community Church located at 5439 E State St, Rockford, IL 61108 (right behind Guitar Center) . Celebration Service will be at 11:00 AM . Open greeting and fellowship will begin at 10:00 AM.
