Jon (Phil) Philip Boyes’ death came without warning. Thursday August 22nd 2024, Phil passed away in Willowbrook IL, his home town. This guy was a friend to all that knew him. He often referred to his home as “the club house” where him and his friends would gather for various games and social events.
Phil was an avid collector, from cards to coins and everything in-between. During Phil’s early childhood he had an extraordinary memory of US Presidents and NBA players.
He had dreams of starting a Podcast about nothing and everything. A jazz man at heart if he was given the chance he would play Nora Jones, Amy Winehouse or Jamriqui.
Preceded in death by his beloved mother Marianne Boyes. Survived by fur-son Beanie (Beans) Boyes, God sons Julian and Jeremiah, Aunts and Uncles; David (Connie) Boyes, Rochelle Powless, Donald Wilson, Bernard Wilson, and Diane Wilson. As well as too many friends, cousins, nieces and nephews to name.
He literally was the life of the party wherever he went. Everyone always enjoyed his company at any family get together. Phil will be missed by all that knew him. We wish well on his spiritual journey to the afterlife.
