James Andrew Kniffin, 64, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2018 at Kishwaukee Hospital in Dekalb, IL after losing his battle with Esophageal Cancer. James was born October 9, 1953 in Chicago, IL and later moved to Warrenville, IL. He was an avid fisherman and a member of the NRA. He enjoyed his annual trips to Eagle River, Wisconsin with his children and grandchildren where they enjoyed their time fishing and being together.
James is survived by his children; Kelly Kniffin, Randy Kniffin, Tiffany Kniffin of Lee, and Michael Kniffin of Rollo and 6 grandsons; Kalab Helgesen, Kayden Helgesen, Julian Acevedo, Aidan Lopez, Jaylin Acevedo, and Mason Kniffin and his two sisters Bobbie and Dolly. He is preceded in death by his partner and best friend Brenda Kniffin, his parents Edward and Margaret Kniffin and his sister Margie Kniffin.
