She was a graduate of Ohio University and a grade school teacher in Chillicothe for many years until her retirement. She was a long time active member of Trinity Methodist Church, the Chillicothe Garden Club, and the DAR. In retirement Day loved spending winters in Arizona, being with her friends and family, gardening, quilting, square dancing, and traveling. A proud moment for her was having her yard in Chillicothe be on the Garden Tour and getting her picture on the cover of the Chillicothe Gazette Weekend Insert. Day will be missed.
